When deciding on a strategy for KAtrans.us we decided to imurltely replace the existing site with a responsive, single page microsite that reflected the company as a whole and delivered on basic business information inside a flowing structure. After this initial roll-out we started developing Stage 2 with the same style and functionality currently in place but with a broader informational scope.
Our goal is to visually display all the aspects of the transportation life-cycle inside various formats and for the multitude of materials and equipment used with each process. By capturing images, video, and publicly available statistics along with internal company data that we tied together to present a story on the significance of the transport industry as a whole in everyday life.
The initial microsite returned keyword search engine results within the top 5 across multiple queries along with providing valuable data on mobile use (over 50%).
